When one of your oldest friends gets married and asks you to do the flowers, its quite possibly the most exciting thing! Here are a few shots from Naomi Jane who I had the pleasure of sitting with over dinner. If you’re looking for a photographer, I highly recommend her. She is super talented, super lovely, and excellent company. Sarah and Nick were great on their wedding day too, of course!
My boyfriend became my second florist for the day, and he set up the Copper Arch that he designed and made for me (handy having an engineer as a boyfriend, I can tell you!) We arrived at Coombe Lodge, Blagdon, and began setting up the ceremony space. Dan was on Copper arch duty, which had been covered in ribbon and stems of flowers, and I carried on with adding pew ends to the chairs. We moved all the high centre pieces safely behind the screen for after the ceremony, and crammed all the vintage bottles for the other table centres, on to the ceremony table (double up and make the most of your blooms for the day by making them work in two spaces!) Finally, the bouquets were delivered, buttonholes pinned on and we cracked on with being guests for the rest of the day.
