For one weekend in a very rainy July, we brought the sunshine filled, 1920s Miami Art Deco vibe to Kings Weston House in Bristol to celebrate Liz and Ben's wedding.

With a vibrant brief to work with, we curated a space that fed into their vision of Miami in the 1920s, using tropical foliage and flowers that complimented the style of the eclectic venue too.

We created a hand tied bouquet with trailing orchids, and a set of coordinating buttonholes for the wedding party in the brightest colour we could find, upon request of the groom!

The Hall had the most enormous fireplace that was dressed and served as a focal point for the ceremony. Two urns stood in the corners to add more colour to the space. At the base of the stairs were trailing Bougainvillaea plants, along with some trailing greenery.

The fireplace also served as a backdrop for the cake cutting, which untraditionally happened before the wedding breakfast. Who doesn't want cake before dinner?! They sat on beautiful perspex pedestals, with arrangements inside - a great way to elevate the styling of such a moment.

The Ballroom held a sweetheart top table which had a show stopping flower arch and acted as a beautiful backdrop for the all important speeches. The two guest tables held high rise arrangements, and the two floral urns made their way to the back of the room to enhance the space.

In the evening, we took on the mammoth task of moving the arch from one side of the venue to the other! It acted as a great backdrop to the dance floor, which was filled with 100 black and white balloons, finished with beautiful gold tassels, as well as copious amounts of disco balls and neon sign! Tux Fizz entertained the guests until carriages, and we popped back to carry out our "take home" packages of flowers, for family and guests to enjoy at home.
